Congresswoman Claudia Tenney has been sworn in as a member of the United States House of Representatives for New York's 24th District. The ceremony was conducted by Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson.
"It is an honor and a privilege to be elected to serve the constituents of the newly formed New York District 24," said Congresswoman Tenney. She emphasized her commitment to transparency and advocacy on behalf of her constituents, promising "innovative and common-sense solutions" to community issues. Tenney also expressed eagerness to support President Trump's agenda aimed at making America secure and prosperous.
Due to redistricting in 2024, NY-24 has undergone changes with parts of Cayuga and Ontario Counties removed and parts of Steuben and Schuyler Counties added. Consequently, Rep. Tenney will open a new district office in Ontario County to better serve the Finger Lakes Region.
