On January 21, 2025, Rep. Tenney expressed her condolences following the death of Border Patrol agent David C. Maland at the Swanton Sector of the Northern Border. She stated, "Our most profound thoughts & prayers are with the loved ones of Border Patrol agent David C. Maland, who was tragically killed at the Swanton Sector of our Northern Border yesterday." She acknowledged the risks taken by Customs and Border Protection agents daily to safeguard borders.

Later that day, Rep. Tenney celebrated a development regarding election integrity as she announced a significant political victory on social media. She wrote on January 21, 2025: "HUGE WIN for Election Integrity As the chair of the #ElectionIntegrityCaucus, I have been the lead advocate for rescinding Biden's corrupt Executive Order 141019." She credited former President Trump for contributing to this achievement.

On January 22, 2025, Rep. Tenney turned her attention to energy policy in New York State by advocating for increased American energy production and opposing Albany Democrats' environmental initiatives. She posted: "By unleashing American energy production and repealing Albany Democrats' Green New Deal Agenda, we can Make New York Great Again!"
