Rep. Claudia Tenney, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New York's 24th district, has recently voiced her opinions on several issues through social media posts. Tenney, who has been serving in Congress since 2021 after replacing Anthony Brindisi, addressed topics ranging from government spending to voting rights.

On February 11, 2025, Rep. Claudia Tenney criticized FEMA for its expenditure on housing illegal migrants in luxury hotels in New York City. She stated that "FEMA spent $59 MILLION to house illegal migrants in NYC luxury hotels." and argued that "FEMA funding should go toward helping Americans struggling after natural disasters—not housing illegal immigrants." She mentioned that @DOGE is working to address what she described as wasteful spending.

Later the same day, Tenney expressed concerns over taxpayer money being used for what she termed as government-sponsored political propaganda. In a post at 16:28 UTC, she announced the introduction of legislation aimed at defunding certain public broadcasters: "Taxpayer dollars should never be used to fund government-sponsored political propaganda disguised as journalism." She revealed her collaboration with Sen. Mike Lee on the Defund Government Sponsored Propaganda Act targeting NPR and PBS.

In another post made at 18:11 UTC on February 11, Rep. Tenney addressed voting rights in New York. She called out attempts by Democrats that she believes undermine electoral integrity by allowing noncitizens to vote. According to her statement: "This is an insult to every single CITIZEN of New York." She emphasized court rulings against noncitizen voting and warned about threats to the sanctity of the Constitutional Republic.
