Congresswoman Claudia Tenney, representing New York’s 24th district, recently shared a series of posts on social media addressing a range of topics from election security to education and antisemitism. Claudia Tenney has served in Congress since 2021 after replacing Anthony Brindisi and has a background in law with degrees from Colgate University and the University of Cincinnati.
On March 31, 2025, Claudia Tenney emphasized the importance of voter ID laws: "Countries that require voter ID: Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Poland, South Africa, Germany, Philippines, Russia, India, Argentina, Sweden, Luxembourg, Indonesia, Nigeria, Italy, France, Finland. The United States must secure & protect our elections by requiring ID to vote!"
Later that same day, in a separate post from March 31, 2025, Tenney congratulated Red Jacket student Reed Laursen on their recent success: "Congratulations to Red Jacket student Reed Laursen on your victory at the Regional Spelling Bee in Wayne County. Good luck in the finals in Washington, DC, this May!"
In another post on March 31, 2025, Tenney addressed concerns over antisemitism on college campuses: "The rampant antisemitism that is taking over college campuses has threatened the lives of Jewish students who are simply trying to pursue an education. The Stop Antisemitism on College Campuses Act will cut federal funding to colleges until they can control the pro-Hamas."
