Niagara County issued the following announcement on Dec. 18.
The Niagara County Department of Health issued the following update on positive COVID-19 cases in Niagara County:
We regretfully report the death of a 98 year-old male with underlying health conditions. We extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of this individual.
The rest of the update is a follows:
- 151 new positive cases
- Total of 6609 positives to date (isolations + recoveries + deaths)
- 1648 active cases (1616 isolating at home, 32 in hospital)
- 4838 recovered
- 123 deaths
- 196,231 tests of Niagara County residents (https://covid19tracker.health.ny.gov/)
