On March 26, 2024, in Oswego, NY, Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) took a stand against President Biden's energy policies by supporting various initiatives aimed at boosting domestic energy production and addressing the issue of rising fuel prices.

"Since President Biden took office, energy costs have soared, leaving families in New York and across the country unable to afford the energy that powers their lives," Congresswoman Tenney expressed, highlighting the impact of the current administration's decisions on energy prices.

"In November 2020, the price of heating oil in our state was $2.41 per gallon. Just over three years later, in February 2024, the cost has skyrocketed to $4.24 per gallon," she added, attributing this 75% increase to President Biden's energy policies.

Tenney reaffirmed her commitment to advocating for lower energy prices by supporting key bills such as the Protecting American Energy Production Act, Restoring American Energy Dominance Act, Creating Confidence in Clean Water Permitting Act, Expressing the sense of Congress on a carbon tax, Denouncing harmful energy policies, and The Cutting Green Corruption and Taxes Act.

These bills were passed by the House with varying margins, reflecting Tenney's efforts to counter what she perceives as detrimental energy policies and to promote American energy dominance.

The Congresswoman's actions align with her goal of ensuring affordable energy for all New Yorkers amidst the current energy challenges facing the nation.
