Rep. Claudia Tenney, representing New York’s 24th district in the U.S. Congress, shared several tweets addressing legislative matters and social issues on April 4, 2025. Tenney, who has been serving since 2021 after replacing Anthony Brindisi, continues to focus on constitutional rights and law enforcement.

On April 4, 2025, Rep. Claudia Tenney announced her support for a new legislative bill, the RIFLE Act, developed in collaboration with Rep. Ashley Hinson and Sen. Tom Cotton. The bill aims to eliminate what Tenney describes as an unconstitutional tax on the transfer and purchase of firearms by law-abiding gun owners. In her post, she emphasized her commitment to protecting Second Amendment rights. " COSPONSOR ALERT: This week, I joined @RepAshleyHinson & @SenTomCotton in introducing the RIFLE Act. This bill will terminate an unconstitutional tax on law-abiding gun owners when they transfer & purchase firearms. I will continue to uphold & preserve our 2A Rights!"

Later that day, Tenney commented on the deportation of a violent MS-13 gang member, questioning the reaction from certain political groups. She highlighted the lack of similar outrage in cases involving violent crimes committed by illegal immigrants against Americans, referencing victims Laken Riley, Jocelyn Nungaray, and Rachel Morin. "Imagine being upset that a violent MS-13 gang member is being deported. Where was this level of outrage from the Left for all the innocent Americans who were killed by the illegal immigrants? Where was this outrage for Laken Riley, Jocelyn Nungaray & Rachel Morin?"

In another tweet on the same day, Tenney praised an executive order by former President Trump aimed at preserving the integrity of American elections. The order seeks to prevent noncitizens from voting, tackle voter fraud, and repeal President Biden's EO 14019. Tenney, in partnership with Rep. Abe Hamadeh, introduced legislation to support this executive order. "President Trump's Preserving & Protecting the Integrity of American Elections Executive Order takes historic steps to keep noncitizens from voting in elections, eliminate voter fraud, & repeal Biden's corrupt EO 14019! @RepAbeHamadeh & I introduced legislation to enshrine this"
