Tenney, who has been in office since 2021 after replacing Anthony Brindisi, expressed her views on immigration policy, celebrated Halloween with her constituents, and criticized former Governor Andrew Cuomo.
On October 30, 2024, Rep. Claudia Tenney posted a tweet advocating for stricter immigration enforcement: "1,000 isn't enough; it's time to deport them all from our country."
The following day, October 31, 2024, she extended holiday greetings to her constituents in New York's 24th district: "Happy Halloween to all who are celebrating in #NY24! Wishing all the trick-or-treaters a spooktacular day filled with treats, tricks, and lots of fun."
Later that same day, Tenney addressed allegations against former Governor Andrew Cuomo regarding his handling of COVID-19 nursing home policies: "Disgraced Governor Cuomo LIED to Congress about his knowledge and cover-up of his deadly COVID-19 nursing home directive, which led to the untimely deaths of 15,000 New Yorkers. It's time for the DOJ to hold him accountable and put him where he belongs – behind bars."
