On February 19, 2025, Rep. Tenney shared a post highlighting the financial recoveries made by DOGE, which she claims have saved taxpayers millions of dollars. She mentioned that these recoveries included "$59 million to house illegal immigrants in NYC hotels," "$101 million for 29 DEI contracts at the Department of Education," and "$168,000 for an Anthony Fauci exhibit at the NIH Museum."
