Congresswoman Claudia Tenney has been elected as New York's regional representative to the Republican Policy Committee for the 119th Congress. The committee, established in 1949, is a platform for members of the House Republican Conference to work together on legislative proposals that align with conservative principles.
"It is a distinct privilege to be chosen by my colleagues in the New York Delegation to serve on the Republican Policy Committee," said Congresswoman Tenney. She emphasized the importance of having a strong federal voice against what she described as "misguided policies" from Albany and expressed her eagerness to collaborate with Policy Committee Chairman Hern and others on developing solutions for current issues.
Chairman Kevin Hern highlighted the significance of the upcoming Congress, stating, "The 119th Congress is going to be the most consequential Congress in a decade." He expressed gratitude for Tenney's involvement and anticipation for their collaborative efforts on advancing the America First Agenda.
