Graduates earn 1,224 degrees, certificates from Niagara University

About 29.2 percent of the 1,224 degrees and certificates handed out by Niagara University in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them some ofthe most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in University conferred 225 bachelor's degrees and 132 master's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in general education. Data shows the school gave out 117 bachelor's degrees in general education, followed by 114 bachelor's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse and 75 master's degrees in general business/commerce.

The university enrolled 3,763 students for 2017-18, including 2,816 in undergraduate programs and 947 in graduate programs.
