In conjunction with the NYS Governor's Traffic Safety Committee, NCSO is hosting Drug Recognition Expert certification training for law enforcement from all around NYS.
18 officers, deputies and troopers are in attendance, with NCSO's own Captain Grainge and Lt. Kratz as the lead instructors. Over the next two weeks, students will go through this intensive school before traveling to Philadelphia for field certifications. Sheriff Filicetti welcomed the group, and wished them well, as DRE is one of the most challenging certifications to achieve in law enforcement. Best of luck to all!
