Surgical Technologists are allied health professionals who are an integral part of the surgical team. They are responsible for a safe patient and surgical environment. Primarily, they
Maintain the sterile field.
Assist in various surgical procedures.
Are sterile members of the surgical team, who pass instruments, sutures and sponges during surgery.
This hands-on program offers clinical experiences at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, the Catholic Health System, Kaleida Health, and ECMC.
NCCC Surgical Technology graduates are prepared to become credentialed as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) and find employment in many aspects of healthcare.
